VOGT is a full-service landscaping company dedicated to transforming ordinary outdoor spaces into extraordinary environments. With a passion for design, craftsmanship, and sustainability, they specialise in creating tailored landscapes that reflect their clients' visions—whether it’s a serene backyard retreat, a vibrant garden, or a polished commercial frontage.

The Challenge

In 2011, VOGT Landscape contacted us during a critical IT emergency involving a failed SAS drive in their server. It was a challenging moment that highlighted the need for a more resilient IT system. We quickly stepped in to stabilise the situation, marking the start of a long-term partnership focused on building a more secure, reliable, and future-ready system.

Our Solution

We got to work immediately, supplying and configuring a brand-new server. This involved rejoining all workstations to the domain and rebuilding their Microsoft Exchange server from scratch. Once the initial setup was stabilised, we focused on creating a reliable, secure, and scalable IT foundation to support their growing needs. (Obviously now, times have changed and most business have migrated to Exchange Online via Microsoft Office 365.)

Over the years, we've worked closely with VOGT to enhance and future-proof their IT environment:

• Data Protection: Implemented both onsite and offsite backup solutions for peace of mind and business continuity.
• Cloud Transition: Successfully migrated data and services to the cloud improving accessibility and scalability.
• Cybersecurity: Introduced threat protection, anti-spam filtering, and ongoing monitoring to keep systems secure.
• Connectivity: Delivered resilient internet links and, in 2023, installed a high-speed WiFi network to ensure smooth operations across the office.
• Hardware & Infrastructure: Supplied custom-built Revit and AutoCAD workstations tailored to their design needs, along with a new server, cabling patching, and network infrastructure.
• Productivity Tools: Assisted with the transition to Office 365 and continue to support their software needs.
• Printing Solutions: Procured and configured large-format printers and plotters, ensuring seamless output for architectural drawings.
